The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dropped slightly again today.
But trolley numbers at Univesity Hospital Limerick remain twice that of the next busiest facility.
The latest INMO figures show 43 people were left waiting on trolleys at Dooradoyle this morning, 30 of those in the emergency department.
