It’s estimated there have been around 4,000 customers in Clare affected by the folding of Danish insurance firm Qudos.
The company filed for liquidation in Denmark last week and it has since emerged that over 50,000 Irish customers were impacted by its closure.
Qudos mostly sold motor insurance to customers through brokers, but also dealt in home insurance and other policies too.
