Overcrowding at University hospital Limerick is high once more again today.

Nurses at the hospital have once more reported the highest number of patients awaiting admission there this week, with the total number this morning standing at 40.

The INMO’s Trolleywatch stats show 19 of those patients were in the hospital’s new Emergency Department, and that the total number is 10 higher than the country’s second busiest hospital.
