There’s been a drop in trolley numbers at the region’s main hospital today, though it remains by far the busiest in the country.
The latest INMO figures show 31 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 22 of those in the Emergency Department.
The overall figure is twelve more than the next busiest facility, but is a dozen fewer than the number on trolleys at Dooradoyle yesterday.
