A further 31 deaths related to COVID-19 have been confirmed, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,190. Nursing home residents account for half of all deaths to date.
An additional 376 cases has also been announced, bringing the total number past 20,000, to a total of 20,253.
Three further cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed for Co. Clare tonight, bringing the total number of cases here to 232.
