200 New Jobs Through Clare’s LEO Client Companies

The government says over 200 new jobs were created thanks to the assistance of Clare's Local Enterprise Office last year.

Figures published this morning show the office assisted 161 companies, who employ over 1,300 hundred people, and that 202 of these positions were created in 2014.

Nationally, Local Enterprise Offices helped create 4,000 new jobs last year.

The LEOs are set up in the offices of County Councils, and here local representatives had expressed concern that the office wasn't fulfilling its full potential because of what the local authority described as "severe staffing constraints."
