15 On Trolleys At UHL

Hospital trolleys

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 15 patients were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 10 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is 9 fewer than the busiest facility, and comes on a day when 107 patients were waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
