Family Unhappy Over Inquiry Into Death Of Patrick Nugent

The solicitor representing the family of a Sixmilebridge man who died in mysterious circumstnces over thirty years ago says their suspicions have been raised by a disupute over the statutory inquiry into his death.

23-year-old Patrick Nugent lost his life in Bunratty Folk Park in 1984, and his family have called for a full public inquiry into the ensuing investigation.

An inquiry has been granted into four cases, including Patrick’s death, but a High Court challenge looks set to be lodged against the terms of reference outlined by the government.
