Clare County Council has welcomed the announcement of new transatlantic services from Shannon.
From July, Norwegian Air International will operate direct services from Shannon to Stewart International Airport outside New York and to Providence Green Airport, Rhode Island which is outside of Boston.
Yesterday’s announcement came three years after talks with Norwegian began,
