More than 10,700 people are still availing of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare.
It’s nearly 500 less than the figure at the beginning of this month, and almost 4,000 short of the number of people claiming the support at its peak in May of last year.
Nationally, more than 468,000 have received the payment into their bank accounts this week.
