10 On Trolleys At UHL

Hospital trolleys

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall today.

The latest INMO figures show 10 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, four of those in the emergency department.

The overall figure equals the number at both Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital.

It comes on a day when 76 patients were left waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
