The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall today.

The latest INMO figures show 10 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, four of those in the emergency department.

The overall figure equals the number at both Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital.
