The women of Clare are being urged to talk about cancer in Ennis this evening as part of a week of events to mark International Women’s Day.
The Clare Women’s Network have organised the public meeting at the Old Ground Hotel at 7pm, where personal stories about cancer will be heard along with information on screening and support services.
The event will also hear from the National Cancer Screening Service which runs breastcheck and cervical screening around the country.

The Breastcheck service completed it’s first round of screening in Clare late last year for women between the ages of 50 and 64.
