    My Vision for Clare:

A return home of our youth, that our towns and villages experience an increase in the growth of births, jobs will be created due to demand for services.

Older people will not be isolated in their homes and that ” coming home movement begins ” more homes will be occupied. More kids in the schools, more people in church, pubs ,shops etc etc.

The youth will return when they see a change in society., Out with the FF and FG and in with fresh blood-bringing energy and future thinking while maintaining culture and traditions.

I am honoured to have a rich music tradition, my great uncle being Willie Clancy from Miltown Malbay who made Clare famous for his passion.. I have that passion also but its to make Clare Great..

    My priorities:

To promote the good qualities Clare has to offer and to develop and enhance it’s weak areas. Airport , stream line business funding, reduction of VAT to create discretionary spending and reduce inflation. People need more money in their pockets. Hospital, Shannon doc, more gardai. Education and providing more apprectiships , I’d like to see 3rd level education in Ennis.

    My experience:

I am the eldest of 6 and learned to be the leader from a young age, always helping my brothers and sisters.

I was an entrepreneur at St Joseph’s Spanish Secondary Schools, with mobile phone repairs and website building. Later on I got trained as a barber and have been self employed since I was 24 or so, I can’t remember exactly. I like engineering, art and reading philosophy and theology and spent 4 years studying Chinese acupuncture and Tuina massage.

My first shop was in the farmers mart on the Quin Road- as I am a farmer’s son and like working with people, I took this in my stride.

I have spent my life with people, listening to all age groups, sharing life experiences, and really enjoy connecting with people.

I some how got to a stage when I decided instead of giving out about the problems in society , I was determined to change things for the good.

I was the first person to join a farmers group, Beef Plan Movement, and to get farmers together, traveled all around Clare and many counties in Ireland promoting the unification of farmers. And it worked..

So from that we set up a purchasing group that farmers save money on the imput into their farm, and a sales group that farmers sell there cattle through and make more money than traditional methods.

It has traded 300k worth in the last 2 months, which has increased confidence for farmers and bringing hope for a much more positive future.

This will go into Clare and generate more jobs, build houses, improve health and mental well being.

Clare needs leadership and I hope they see me as one, I have not got a fancy party name, I don’t have ” the machine ”

But what I have got is ability, natural ability…

    Let’s put Clare first..
Let get the Woulfe to the Dail.
