Arrival Of World’s Largest Plane In Shannon Is Delayed

Aviation enthusiasts will have to wait a little longer – to catch sight of the world’s largest aircraft at Shannon Airport.

The Antonov AN-225 was due to touch down at Shannon this afternoon, when it was to deliver a consignment of personal protective equipment to Ireland.

However, its arrival has now been delayed until tomorrow morning – after technical difficulties were encountered while it was en route to Ireland.
