Almost €900,000 To Be Issued In Clare Through Social Inclusion Programme

Almost €900,000 is to be issued to social inclusion groups in Clare, who are working with vulnerable sectors of society.

Junior Minister Pat Breen has confirmed that the money will be drawn down through the 2020 Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme.

It will support unemployed people, people living in disadvantaged areas, disabled people, single parents, people on low income, the Traveller community and other disadvantaged groups in the county.

It will allow them to complete lifelong learning courses, set up their own business, and find employment.
