Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for much of Sunday, one of the busiest days of Fleadh 2017.
Warm, humid conditions expected to develop through Sunday, lasting into the early days of next week, will bring spells of heavy rain leading to potential accumulations of 30 to 50mm, with highest totals in the mountains.
The warning has been issued for Clare, but also several other counties including Donegal and all of Connacht, much of Leinster and North Tipperary.
Forecasters say warm, humid conditions are expected to develop through Sunday, bringing spells of heavy rain leading to potential accumulations of 30 to 50mm.
Rainfall will be heaviest in mountainous areas, and Fleadh organisers will hope that the forecasters’ predictions prove incorrect, with another bumper crowd set to come into town.
