The Lord of the Dance is to officially open the Fleadh down in Ennis.
It has been announced that Michael Flatley, the man who revolutionised Irish dancing throughout the world, will take to the stage at the opening of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Ennis on Sunday August 13th.
Flatley will address the expected large crowd, and also perform, although the now-retired dancer will in fact play the flute with County Galway uileann piper and composer, Gerard Fahy.
