Works To Begin On Clarecastle Sewage Issue Next January

Work to address long term sewage problems in the River Fergus in Clarecastle is set to being next January.

Untreated sewage has been discharged into the river at the Quay in Clarecastle for a long number of years, causing concern among local there.

Site investigations for the project are due to commence at the end of this month, with a view to construction beginning next January, with Irish Water and Clare County Council working in conjunction with consulting firm RPS on it.
