Union Pushing For ‘No Mask, No Board’ Policy On Public Transport

Public transport should have a ‘no mask, no board’ policy, as Covid-19 travel restrictions are eased over the coming weeks.

That’s one of the proposals submitted by the National Bus and Rail Union – to the Oireachtas Covid-19 Committee.

The union wants face masks to be mandatory – and also says standing on buses won’t be allowed for the foreseeable future.
