Treacherous Driving Conditions In Clare After Snowfall And Heavy Rain

Motorists are being advised to take care after snowfall overnight and this morning has led dangerous driving conditions on some of the county’s roads.

A low level status yellow snow ice warning is in place for Clare and Limerick while an orange alert has been issued for Tipperary.

Issues were reported this morning on routes across the Banner, including the Connolly to Ennis and Miltown to Inagh roads while Clare County Council responded to flooding in the Kilkee area close to Waterworld.
