Targeted Response Required From Government To End Clare Homeless Crisis

Calls have been made for a targeted response from Government to end the homeless crisis in rural areas like Clare.

It comes as new figures from the Department of Housing show a 21% increase in the number of homeless adults in this county in the month of November, with 80 people here without a place to call home.

There was a rise in the number of children in emergency accommodation in the Midwest in the run up to Christmas also.
