A former All Ireland winner feels the timing of tomorrow’s Clare Cup Hurling Final doesn’t do the competition justice.

Newmarket and Sixmilebridge go head to head tomorrow in the second biggest competition of the Clare hurling calendar for the first time since 2010.

The Bridge have been out of action since defeat in the Munster Club Semi Final a month ago while the Blues had a comprehensive win over Kilmaley two weeks ago.
