Clare’s joint-manager has praised his side’s drive during their win over Kilkenny.
The Banner made the trip to Kilkenny’s Nowlan Park for round two of the Allianz Hurling League yesterday and emerged with a three point win.
Two early goals, one from Shane O’Donnell and David Reidy apiece, in the opening twenty minutes gave Clare a healthy half-time lead, however the gap shrunk during the second half and it came down to a goal’s difference by the final whistle.
