MidWest Simon Concerned Drop In Homelessness Figures Will Not Continue

Mid West Simon has expressed fear that a drop in homelessness figures in this county last month doesn’t spell the beginning of a downward trend.

Latest figures from the Department of Housing show there were 127 children in emergency accommodation in the Mid West last month – down from 173 in November.

But there were 344 people in emergency accommodation in Clare and Limerick in December versus 281 in January of last year.
