McMahon Calls On GAA To Ensure Intercounty Players Have Time To Rest

A Munster and All Ireland senior hurling medallist with the Banner has called on the GAA to ensure intercounty players have time to rest up over the winter.

Clare’s senior hurlers and footballers now have their eyes firmly on 2021, after All Ireland and Munster quarter final exits respectively this campaign.

The GAA has still to decide on the starting date of next year’s hurling and football leagues, with the Central Competitions Control Committee still planning the 2021 calendar.
