One of Clare’s key men admits it was relief to get back on the field ahead of the closing stages of the National Football League Division Two campaign.
Corofin’s Jamie Malone marked his return to action with 0-3 in last weekends win over Cork after suspension saw him miss the previous two games.
Malone is expected to be named in the starting 15 once more this evening for Sunday’s final round game against Louth where a win for the Banner will cement their place in Division Two for 2019.
