Ennis woman Laura Brennan has been given an award from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland for her dedication and work in support of the HPV vaccine.
The Patient Advocate Medal was presented to the Clare woman – who is living with terminal cervical cancer – in Dublin this afternoon.
The award recognised the immense efforts and devotion of patients to protecting the health of the population.
