Eire Óg manager Paul Madden feels it’s important his side are in a positive frame of mind ahead of this weekend’s Clare Senior Football Quarter Final.

The Townies bowed out of the hurling championship last weekend and a number of that side will line out once more on Saturday when they face Ennistymon.

There’s two major injury concerns for the 2014 finalists with both Daire Walsh and Mikey Moloney likely to miss out after picking up knocks in the loss to Kilmaley.

Meanwhile Clondegad boss Mikey Hehir is urging his squad to emulate their hurling counterparts in reaching the last four of the championship.

A number of the Ballyea side that lined out last weekend will take to the field against Miltown on Saturday as they bid to make it to the semi finals for the third time in the last four seasons.

Hehir says their season has been building steadily
