15:00 It’s official. Clare has voted in favour of Repealing the Eighth.

12:14 All boxes have been opened now, they’ve moved on to sorting. It may still be some time before we have a final result, some suggesting 3pm.

More than 90 boxes tallied so far, the 64/36 split holding strong. It’s estimated that the tally, being carried out by the Clare Together for Yes and Clare Love Both teams, has around 70 percent accuracy so gives a picture of how the vote is going so far. It’ll be later this afternoon before we have the official Clare figures.

09:49 Nursing home residents in Clare said to have voted by a margin of around 2-3% in favour of a Repeal. The votes of all residents of such homes in the county are put in one box.
