Ireland’s Coronavirus Cases Surpass 16,000 As 44 More Deaths Confirmed

The National Public Health Emergency Team has confirmed this evening that 44 more lives have been lost in Ireland due to COVID-19.

This brings the death toll nationally to 730.

388 new cases have also been confirmed today, including four in Clare which brings the tally in this county to 164.

This means 16,040 people overall have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in this country.
