Importance Of Shannon-Canada Air Connectivity Pressed

It’s claimed increased connectivity between Shannon Airport and Canada will be key to growing business in the Midwest region.

There are currently 75 Canadian companies in Ireland, employing a total of 13,000 workers here, and the economic impact of them was explored in a seminar hosted by Shannon Chamber this week.

Air Canada began flying out of Shannon Airport in 2018 but the service was stood down last year due to the global grounding of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft and Shannon Group has expressed hope that the routes will resume this year.
