Hurling Fixtures Confirmed As Previous Champions Go Head-To-Head

The last two winners of the county senior hurling championship go head-to-head next Saturday evening in Cusack Park.

Clare GAA have confirmed the second round fixtures with defending champions Ballyea facing Sixmilebridge at 6.15pm.

It’s part of a double header with another game from the winners group as Feakle take on Crusheen at 4.45pm.

There’s two other games with quarter-final spots up for grabs. Éire Óg face Clonlara in Broadford at 3pm. And on Sunday, it’s Cratloe vs Inagh/Kilnamona in Cusack Park at 12pm.

In the losers section, eight teams are fighting for championship survival on Saturday.

Sixmilebridge hosts a double header with O’Callaghan’s Mills up against Newmarket-on-Fergus at 1.30pm followed by Whitegate and Kilmaley at 3pm.

Tulla and Wolfe Tones battle to avoid the relegation play-offs in Clarecastle at 2.30pm. And at 4.30pm in Shannon, Clarecastle meet Clooney/Quin.
