HSE Nursing Homes In Clare Paid Almost 80 Percent More Than Private Ones To Provide Care

Figures have revealed that HSE nursing homes in Clare are paid almost 80 percent more to provide care than their private or voluntary counterparts here.

Data released by the HSE shows that the average weekly fee payable to their four nursing homes in this county in February was €1,526 per person.

This compares with the average fee of €851 per person per week paid out to the 11 private and voluntary nursing homes in Clare.
