After the break Miltown stormed out of the blocks to hit 1-3 inside the first ten minutes of the second half, including two points from county star Eoin Cleary.

The goal came from Cormac Murray, which left his side 1-7 to 0-6 clear after 40 minutes.

Kilmurry responded with two in a row through Stephen Moloney and Keelan Sexton before Kieran Malone restored a three point lead for Miltown midway through the half.

Sexton then landed his fourth free of the night before points from Eamon Bracken & Darren Sexton tied the game up with 10 minutes to play.

Darragh McDonagh and Keelan Sexton swapped points twice in the closing stages, with McDonagh having the final say to see the game finish level on a full time score of Miltown 1-10 Kilmurry 0-13.

The result sees both sides guaranteed a place in the knockout stages with 9 points each after 5 rounds.

Kilmurry currently lead the standings thanks to scoring difference with just two rounds left to play, with whoever finishes on top going straight through to the final.
