Fresh Calls For Roadworks To Be Prioritised Ahead Of Irish Open

Fresh calls are being made on Clare County Council to act quickly in bringing the county’s roads up to scratch ahead of the Irish Open.

The golfing tournament will be held in Lahinch from July 4th to 7th and is expected to bring thousands of people to West and North Clare.

This is on top of the existing summer traffic brought by the tourist season and has led to concern about the impact on roads.
