Former Ennis Hostel ‘May Not Be Suitable’ For Social Housing

Clare County Council has suggested that a former Ennis hostel may not be suitable for social housing.

The building on Carmody Street in Ennis has capacity for 100 people, with Independent Councillor James Breen calling for it to be purchased and converted into accommodation.

While the local authority says all available properties for sale are receiving due consideration, it has been suggested that this particular building may not be suitable.
