For the first time in over three months, a COVID-19 related death has been recorded in Clare.
The CSO now says that there have been 41 deaths here linked with the coronavirus, an increase of one on its last release two weeks ago.
The person in question lost their life last week.

No further details are given for reasons of confidentiality, but this is the first time that a COVID-related death has been registered here since the week of July 3rd.
The CSO says there have been 1,050 confirmed cases of the virus here up until last Friday, with those effected having a median age of 38.
