There’s been a slight dip in the number of new cars sold in Clare so far this year, compared with the same period last year.
So far this year, 2,442 new units have been sold across the Banner County, marking a drop of almost 50 compared with January to July of 2017.
The figures released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that nationally there was a drop of around 4% in new sales year on year, though Clare’s rate of decline was slightly behind this at less than 2%.
