Draws This Evening For Round Two Of Clare SFC

The draw for the second round of the Clare Senior Football Championship takes place this evening.

Eight teams are just one more win away from reaching the quarter finals, while another eight are just one more loss away from dropping out of the top tier.

The eight teams who won their opening rounds game this weekend will be drawn against each other last this evening, with whoever comes through those ties booking their spot in the quarter finals.

All eight teams who were beaten this weekend will be paired off, with the four losers of those ties dropping down to intermediate for 2019.

Going into the winners hat will be Lissycasey, Ennistymon, Cratloe, Clondegad, Kilmurry Ibrickane, Doonbeg, Miltown and St Breckans.

The eight teams in relegation danger are Eire Óg, O’Curry’s, Kilmihil, St Josephs Doora Barefield, Kilfenora, Corofin, Wolfe Tones and Cooraclare.

The draws will be made this evening at Clare GAA Headquarters in Clareabbey with the games set to ahead on the weekend of September 1st.
