Two of the last three champions are still in the hunt to claim the 2018 Clare Senior Hurling title ahead of this evenings semi final draw.

2016 winners Ballyea are back into the last four after they beat Inagh/Kilnamona by 1-19 to 0-16, thanks in part to a tally of 1-13 from Niall Deasy over the course of the hour.

Captain for this year is Tony Kelly, he says they are relieved to have come through a tough test.

Last years intermediate champions Kilmaley continued their revival with a dominant 1-21 to 1-8 win over Eire Óg.

Manager John Carmody says there’s still plenty to work on.

Meanwhile 2014 champions Cratloe are also in the hat tonight after they took down the holders Sixmilebridge while O’Callaghans Mills are into the last four for the first time since 1997 after they beat Clooney/Quin.

The intermediate semi final draw will also take place tonight with only Corofin and Tubber guaranteed their place in the draw.

Scariff and Sixmilebridge will have to meet again as they finished level after extra time while Feakle and Broadford will also require a replay after they couldn’t be seperated after over 80 minutes action.
