Munster Club winning coach Fergal Hegarty will come face to face with his old Ballyea charges in this weekends Clare Senior Hurling Quarter Final.

Inagh/Kilnamona go up against the 2016 champions with Hegarty now back in charge of his native parish as they look to reach the last four for the first time since 2012.

They beat Crusheen in their Round Three tie while Ballyea got the better of Cratloe to take the direct route to this stage.

Hegarty says facing his former outfit won’t have any bearing on how he approaches the task at hand.

Meanwhile last years intermediate champions Kilmaley will look to continue their development when they take on Eire Óg.

John Carmody’s side recovered from defeat to Clooney/Quin with an impressive win over Tulla and are looking to reach the semi finals for the second time since 2015.

Carmody says they need to focus on getting another top class performance if they’re to get past the Townies.
