Concern Expressed About Future Of Aer Lingus Workers At Shannon

Serious concern has been expressed about the future of Aer Lingus workers at Shannon, following the announcement of job cuts by the airline.

Aer Lingus is to make up to 500 workers redundant, due to the collapse in aviation business – because of the Covid-19 crisis.

Fianna Fail TD for Clare – Cathal Crowe has expressed alarm at yesterday’s announcement by the airline.

Deputy Crowe says – that the announcement is very shoddy treatment of the workers at Shannon and is appealing for management to properly engage;
