Cleary Confident Miltown Are Ready For Shot At Provincial Glory

One of Miltown’s key men says they’re determined to make the most of their opportunity of claiming Munster glory.

The west Clare side square off with Kerry kingpins Dr Crokes on Sunday in the Gaelic Grounds for the right to be crowned Munster Club Football champions.

County hurling star Conor Cleary will be hoping to help guide his club to the title after suffering defeat in the intermediate hurling decider with Kilmaley 12 months ago.

He says while it’s a time of real positivity at the moment, they have to make the most of their chance at silverware.

Meanwhile Dr Crokes forward Daithi Casey says no one in their camp is expecting an easy afternoon on Sunday.

The Kerry champions are familiar with Clare opposition having faced Kilmurry Ibrickane three times and Cratloe once in recent years.
