The Taoiseach says it’s not up to him to dictate whether the Dublin Airport Authority and Aer Lingus can advertise in local newspapers in Clare and Limerick.
Enda Kenny is reacting to comments from Clare’s Independent TD who’s condemned a significant joint advertising campaign in a number of newspapers in the Midwest.
Michael Harty has described the campaign as a “raw and unapologetic attempt to cannibalise passengers from Shannon Airport”.
