The Senior Footballers opened their National League campaign this afternoon.
Colm Collins’ side made the trip to Mullingar to take on newly promoted Westmeath – who they beat in last year’s Championship by a single point.
In a tight scoring encounter, it was in the 40th minute of the second half when Westmeath got the final point of the game that made them winners by a single point.
