Clare GP Says More Awareness Needed Over Self-Isolation Of Close Contacts

A Clare GP is calling for greater awareness over the need for close-contacts of COVID-19 cases to self-isolate.

50 cases were confimed in Clare yesterday, while the 14 day incidence rate now stands at 303 per 100,000 population, the fourth highest in the country.

People who are contacted by the HSE as close contacts of positive COVID-19 cases must self-isolate regardless of whether or not they receive a positive or negative test themselves.
