Clare’s footballers began their new season this afternoon. However it didn’t go Clare’s way.
They were in Rathkeale to face Limerick in their first outing of this year’s McGrath Cup.
The sides were level at the break with the half-time score Clare 1-03 and Limerick 0-06.

In the second half Limerick went ahead but despite a second goal from Keelan Sexton, Clare could not get in front. Limerick emerging winners on a final scoreline Clare 2-06 Limerick 0-14.
