Clare Farmers Still Living In Fear Of Crime Despite Dip In Burglary Figures

It’s claimed farmers on the ground in Clare are still living in fear of crime, despite a dip in the number of burglaries in the county.

Figures released by the CSO this week show that there were 55 burglaries in Clare in the final three months of last year, down from 129 in the same period 10 years previously.

The data also reveals that the number of recorded crime incidents generally have been on a downward trend in recent years.
