Clare Election Candidate Slams Social Housing Budget

A Clare General Election candidate has slammed two planned social housing developments as being “no value for money whatsoever”.

Clare County Council has confirmed that a €3.9 million, 18-home development is to proceed in Scarriff, while a further €2 million will be spent on eight homes at Roslevan in Ennis.

Both schemes will be completed by the end of next year.
