A Clare disability campaigner believes the state is losing out on millions by housing disabled people incorrectly.
Rehab says there are some 1,200 disabled people in the country under the age of 65 who are living in “inappropriate care” in nursing homes, who could be living independently.
It comes as it’s also revealed there are 217 people with disabilities on the social housing list in this county.
